I forgot to mention that I have tried both portable and setup versions.

Tested on a VM and it works

I'm not sure if you are really launching hatt from the cli, it should be hatt.exe, not hatt

perhaps, the process is opened in process hacker

If you can find a way to reproduce the issue, I could help.
I'm thinking about making a docker image, that would fix quite some issues like this one

if possible just try to add more debugging, so that i can read the error messages, not those from your apps, but those from your requierements, i guess, but idk GO language at all.

You can run the project from the source code. The instructions are in CONTRIBUTING.md

I've managed to build aka compile it over again but how would I run the code without building it?
