In case of hitting the error: "ERROR: could not resize shared memory segment "/PostgreSQL.1136341590" to 3158016 bytes: No space left on device" see also docker-library/postgres#416 where the actual problem of limited shared memory within docker is discussed.

The discussion in docker/compose#6333 describes how to solve the problem within a docker-compose file
