Why have you written in the title about alarms? They turn on automatically. Only timers don't turn on after creating them. |

Feature description
I'd like for timers to be automatically enabled, when I make them. The same could also go for alarms. Ideally, it would be two seperate toggles, so people who prefer the current behavior are not disturbed.
Why do you want this feature?
The current behavior is unintuitive to me.
A couple of times, I have experienced setting a timer for some pasta or rice to cook, and after I've specified the lenght of the timer I forget to tap a second time to activate the timer. This has led to overcooked and burnt food more than once. It makes more intuitive sense, that a new timer is automatically enabled, since most of the time it's now you want to use it.
