More Customized Reoccurance Options #429
Comments
You can already do this in Weekly repetition.
It's possible to create an event happening on a particular day using Monthly repetition. However, it will create an event that happens e.g. only on 3rd Sunday, it's not possible to add other days. |
Thank you for the response! It is good to know you can do multiple days a week. As for making a reoccurrence (say on the 3rd Sunday), I can see where I can put down every 3 weeks on Sunday, but I don't believe that is the same as the 3rd Sunday of the month. If I were to set it on a third Sunday, but that month had five Sundays, then the next meeting would be on the 1st Sunday of the month (since it would count the fourth, fifth, and first Sundays as three weeks). Perhaps I am missing something. Edit: I am missing something. I see now where I can set an appointment for the 3rd Sunday of each month. Thank you for helping me see that. It would be nice, though, to be able to set a reoccurrence for the 1st and 3rd (or something similar) for a single meeting. I understand, though that it may be difficult to code, but I thought I might come and ask, just in case it is something the team is interested in doing. |
Just want to add that I also miss repetitions with a fraction of day(s). This is useful e.g. to create an own moon phase calendar or just want to be pinged every 45 minutes the next hours. |
Is there an app that supports hourly, minutely repetition? |

Feature description
I think it would be nice to have more options for the reoccurrence of a calendar event. For instance, I have a reoccurring meeting that happens on the 1st and 3rd Sunday, another meeting on every 2nd and 4th Sunday, and a third meeting that occurs every 5th Sunday. Currently (from what I can tell) I can only do something like daily, weekly, monthly, yearly or X days, weeks, months, years. Another example of one where you have a meeting that happens on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week (so, being able to select multiple days each week).
Why do you want this feature?
It is a feature on other calendar apps (like Apple calendar) that comes in handy. I have actual business cases where it is needed.
