Windows installer is broken

Running webpack-dashboard-app-setup-1.0.0.exe on Windows 10 64bit. It crashes on start without showing any GUI.

I am getting this bizzare error message:

Same problem here. If I run it as administrator with windows 8 compatibility the installation starts, but immediately after it crash because of an unknown error.

Well, I tried windows 8 compatibility and crash, BUT, then saved the compatibility config to the app and then run it again, and works.

It works if you goto compatibility and change settings for all users to windows 8, as well as run as admin.
