  • Docker 22/09/2020 Docker is great for creating portable and consistent computational environments. In this session, Alex Guizar gave a short introduction on the basics of Docker and how it can be used to support scientific research and reproducibility.
  • tidyverse II 11/08/2020 Builds upon tidyverse intro with a focus on the purrr and tidy packages.
  • tidyverse intro 28/07/2020 The tidyverse is a collection of R packages designed to make data analysis easier, cleaner and more efficient short class
  • Linux/Bash 20/07/2020 Bash and cluster computing can be invaluable for processing large amounts of data. Anne Thomas gave a short class on the topic.
  • rmarkdown 23/06/2020 Rmarkdown is a useful tool for producing and publishing reproducable research. O'Neill Tun gave a short class on the basics.
  • git 20/06/2020 a version control software used to track and archive changes to files, very useful for managing research code and then sharing on servers. Jonathan Williams gave a short class on how the basics of git and how to use it to track and publish code for an individual.
