Description

A clear and concise description of what the bug is

App Installer knows there are dependencies, but can't install them, telling me I need to ask the developer for an unknown package.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Download the appxinstaller package.
  2. Open using App Installer.
  3. Click install.
  4. Note that it does not install, claiming I need a dependency.

Meta

  • EarTrumpet version: latest dev build
  • Windows 10 version: 22000.282 (although it also happens on 19042, which is Windows 10 21H1).

If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

Thanks @jedieaston, we don't currently express dependencies in our .appinstaller. Will get that patched up later today.

Sorry for the delay, juggling priorities. Am looking into the hybrid CRT approach to eliminate this dependency altogether.
