Curious if you have any ideas about calculating Mie scattering coefficients based on particulate density and/or species rather than the rough estimates typically used in implementations & papers?

Firstly sorry for the late response and thanks for your nice comments! I'm not particularly knowledgeable about Mie scattering myself, so I'm not sure if it's something I can add to ARPC in near future but there are 2 great software / Python libraries that might be useful for this purpose. The first one is a software called MiePlot, and the second one is a Python library called miepython. Both are able to calculate both the scattering and absorption cross-sections for aerosols, as well as the Mie phase function.
