Describe the problem:
The issue is an xtermjs problem which was recently patched. Details are here: xtermjs/xterm.js#4120
I'm seeing this issue with the latest version of Tabby, would be nice to see xtermjs updated so that it has this patch. I'd prefer to use canvas as the text looks cleaner but this issue is too distracting to be able to use it currently.
To Reproduce:
Switch to canvas and open the nano editor, the issue is readily apparent, the bars drawn on the top and bottom don't stop where they are supposed to. This is also readily apparent when using colors with ls and viewing directories with 777 perms that have a highlight for their background, the highlight doesn't stop at the end of the word and trails off to the start of the next one.
