Qubes 4.1 - Unable to find a match: qubes-video-companion

I am running Qubes 4.1, with dom- running Fedora 32, typing sudo qubes-dom0-update qubes-video-companion resulrs in No match for argument: qubes-video companion.

Same with sudo dnf install qubes-video-companion in templates

That’s expected behavior because it didn’t make the R4.1 release. It will be in an update, though.

How would someone install it then?

You would have to compile it yourself.
Which is a bit hard considering that the README tells us to use the scripts in the /build folder, and they do not work.
You have to do something like QubesOS/qubes-video-companion#2

@DemiMarie any idea when it might be in an update to 4.1? I tried to install qube-video-companion with the build script but ran into the PGP key expired issue described in #27

Confused on why packages are in debian template but not dom0 as of today

Able to install with sudo qubes-dom0-update --enablerepo=qubes-dom0-current-testing qubes-video-companion-dom0

Solution would be:

• update documentation for pointing at qubes-video-companion-dom0
• rename package to qubes-video-companion
