where do we specify the character set #3
Comments
Hi. Sorry for the delay in responding. We are trying to migrate all of our qudt:symbol values to Unicode, but you are correct, this isn't well documented. (It was mentioned in passing in the release notes for v2.1.22, but only indirectly). I will update our wiki. Thanks for pointing this out. |
I have updated our wiki documentation, but I'm actually puzzled because I don't believe we have the unit MegaJ-PER-M2-DAY in our vocabulary. Can you tell me where you found it? |
My mistake, MegaJ-PER-M2-DAY is one that we are proposing. Here are some existing units that also use this character to express an exponent in the qudt:symbol field: MegaJ-PER-M2, MegaJ-PER-M3, MOL-PER-DeciM3, YD3-PER-DAY. It looks like we'll be safe setting our editors to UTF8. |
Looking forward to your contributions! |
in qudt:symbol, there are non-ascii characters, e.g, MegaJ-PER-M2-DAY has
qudt:symbol "MJ/m²/day" ;
I don't a character set declaration at the top of the file. Character sets are not mentioned in the guidelines, nor are symbols.
