The web interface shows buttons for all of the sound files I uploaded, but the only button that does anything is "Random Clip." That button, along with sending !sbr to the bot, both play random files. Pressing a button on the web interface for a particular file doesn't do anything. If I send !sb '<file name from !sblist>', the bot says the file does not exist.

What should I be checking?

Thank you,
Chris

Hi, I don't have access to a computer right now, but here are some possible solutions:

  1. Make sure that a "permanent media storage" folder is set in the bots 'config.ini' file.
  2. Make sure any clips you attempt to play are present in the soundboard subfolder in the permanent media storage you set.
  3. You dont need to include file extensions to the commands, so you should be able to do '!sb test' instead of '!sb test.mp3'
  4. You also shouldn't include any quotations in your commands.

Hi, was this problem ever solved?
If the !sb command resulted in a file doesn't exist even after you looked at my suggestions above, then the bot may have encountered a permission error reading the files from the media directory.
