make_header and stat_Output_YrMorts in ST_stats.c are both currently unused. They are retained now in case their functionality becomes useful later on, but we need to investigate them at length to determine if they can be removed. To do this we need to:

  • Understand their functionality
  • Determine if that functionality has been moved to other functions (i.e. these functions should be deprecated)
  • Determine if their functionality will ever be needed again.
  • Determine if they can be removed.
