Frequency of very wet days, weeks, and months is considerably underestimated.

See figure IntegrationTest-WeatherGenerator_CompareWeather_QQplots.png produced by the weather generator integration tests.

--> Suggested solution: Use a heavy-tailed distribution (e.g., gamma) instead of the normal distribution to generate daily amounts of precipitation on wet days (see section “The precipitation amount process” in Wilks and Wilby 1999)
