Fist problem top light-gray bar with status info overlays left and right top buttons, but this is not as fatal as next...Next problem - I can't open DP2 settings , no reaction on attempt to click on DP2 icon at left side of the bar .
When swiped on bar, settings menu is partially overlayed with main map tiles.

I have a similar issue on my Nexus 5 running Android 4.4.4.

@jangilla the ui on your nexus 5 looks as designed. Can you point to any specific issue?

Of course! I totally forgot to mention the most important point. Sorry for that!

I am wondering why the map is displayed above the Action Bar within the Status Bar. Is this maybe an issue in connection with CyanogenMod?

@jangilla that's normal. We use android 4.4 UI apis to make the status bar transparent in order to increase the real estate for the map.
