Currently, examples are baked into the app and can't be hot-reloaded. For better UX, we should cache the examples and serve the prebuilt binary if available so hot-reloading is usable from the start.

Added this to the PR before merging it - really wanted the experience of hot-reloading the app with no extra steps.
