Doesn't work with "extension added fields" in Author Edit

I have installed an extension that adds fields to the Edit Author page, and now, when I try to change the Backend Language via this extension, it doesn't work because the Author Page won't save (regarding the fact that field data is missing).

It would be nice to be able to change the language only, without having to resend all the Author Info every time.
