Could land in xugrid, dfm_tools, meshkernel or hydrolib-core.

Actions like >> current package:

grid generation/refinement >> meshkernel
grid writing >> xugrid (implemented, including meshkernel>xugrid conversion)
cross-section trough map data (side view) so dfmt.polyline_mapslice() >> xugrid+dfm_tools combination (Improve map-polyline-slice dataset structure and cleanliness #206)
slicing at depths is probably not grid-specific (Improve dfmt.get_Dataset_atdepths() #208)
