Sometimes, as a user support engineer, being able to see the full metadata for a task is really helpful.
For example, I couldn't tell whether #637 was due to JM or Cromwell misbehaving, because I couldn't look at the metadata.
I can't speak for an end-user benefit directly, but I do believe that turnaround time on user support would be greatly improved by having an ability to see full metadata within the UI.

It should be possible for a user support engineer to get all the metadata directly from the API -- can you talk about why getting it through Job Manager is different than the Cromwell API directly?
