after adding -e PYTHONUNBUFFERED=0 to docker run command, it was resolved

Maybe it's worth looking at this issue https://stackoverflow.com/questions/29663459/python-app-does-not-print-anything-when-running-detached-in-docker, and implementing one of the proposed solutions?
