CookiebotWP is not lawful in Germany in its current form because Akamai is used as a CDN.

To my surprise, Cookiebot now has a solution for this and offers an Akamai-free version: https://support.cookiebot.com/hc/en-us/articles/4530208762396-Cookiebot-CMP-European-CDN-solution

However, the WordPress plugin does not offer an option to switch to the .eu variant.
