Do what I did. Convert it to a v4.2.7 silent main board. I bought the board, and a set of Ender 3 Pro motor cables. ($50 Total)
Reconfigured an Ender 3 Pro configuration file set to match the size of the Ender 2 Pro and I also added a bunch of useful tools as well. You can see what I did with the v4.2.7 firmware here: https://github.com/The-300lb-Gorilla/Ender-2-Pro-v427

It is a good alternative but the point is to compile the code. Some of us dont want to mess with the hardware. Also 50$ extra for 180$ printer is alot. You better get the ender 3 at the first place. Its really unaceptable by this company to completly ignore our requests.

I hear ya. I was just trying to make a suggestion. I am a tinkerer, so for me, it is the challenge of finding alternative solutions. Rather than wait for a manufacturer to release source code.

(Tom0579) So sorry to hear that. At least you got your money back. This whole situation that everyone with an Ender 2 Pro is going through is just plain stupid. If you ask me, As my Grandfather use to say, they do not have the common sense that god gave a retarded squirrel. And that is being polite.
I have stopped using one of my Ender 2 Pros. Pulled the v427 board out and bought a Aquila C2 (Ender 3 Pro Clone), dropped the v427 in that. Had to make new stand off mounts for the v427 board, but that was easy. Now I have a 220x220x250 printer.
The funny thing is, the Aquila C2 only costs $165 on Amazon. Less than an Ender 2 Pro. I was able to pay for it by selling the second Ender 2 Pro with my spare v423 board in it for $165 on the local online garage sale. I added in 2 rolls of filament to sweeten the deal. I am planning on selling my other Ender 2 Pro after I put the stock board back in it. I think I may buy a second Aquila C2 and a v427 board. I am done with this micky mouse crap with Creality.
