Cp asking for password when trying to save course (not always happening); Mod Conflict(Power Tools)

What happened?

Cp displays a windows asking for a password where you normaly should have the prompt for the couse name or folder name.

How can we reproduce this?

Try to save a course

What did you expect to happen?

The usual behaviour

I never had that happen in SP, that is super strange....
Any Idea what you did before?

Hello!
I just installed v8.0.0.3 today, toghether with the new release of the Riverbend map edited By Stevie. Launched an harvest mission with CTRL G and tried to save the course after the harvester finished the job. I updated all the version of CP Since V8.0.0.0. Game was saved and reloaded after update to 8.0.0.3 and before trying to save the course.

There is a discussion about this issue dating drom 2 days, so probably not V8.0.0.3

Hi there,
Trying to help, I experimented a bit this morning. Unable to reproduce today. I tried a new savegame on original riverdend with no other mods than CP-> Working Fine. I creted a new savegame with Riverbend modified by stevie and no mods except CP -> OK

I then reopened my problematic savegame from yesterday -->> Working fine also !!!

Ich habe ja das selbe Problem, habe gestern jedoch keine weiteren Probleme gehabt, Alles funktionierte normal. Heute Morgen öffnete ich mein Spielstand auf der Asia Map habe einen Kurs generiert und hatte wiederum das Problem, das anstatt nach dem Kursname, nach einem Passwort gefragt wurde. Ich startete das Spiel erneut, generierte weitere Kurse und konnte die dann normal speichern. Es tritt willkürlich auf, es absichtlich zu erzeugen/ nachzustellen geht glaube ich nicht.

I have had this on both single player and multiplayer.

Through experimentation, restarting the game fixes it temporarily. It seems to occur at a random amount of time playing -- I can't pin it. But the first thing I save always works, after some time both creating a folder and saving a course asks for a password.

When on a MP server, when this occurs, if you reconnect it works again -- so it's a client sided thing, not a server sided. I did not restart the server.

I had this problem also, but for me i fixed. One Combine harvester mod was the problem. So i disable them and the Problem was gone. There was a warning from the combine harvester in the log, that's how I saw it.

If multiple people are reporting the same issue, the chances that we all have the same mode causing this issue is slim. The only thing i can think of is autodrive. I'll do some more testing tomorrow.

Wenn ich meine Log durchschaue und es durch einen Mod verursacht werden, habe ich nur 1x Error beim UniversalAutoload Mod.

Wie gesagt bei mir war es nur ein Mod fehler und ich habe auch autoload drauf.

I am using autoload too. I'll remove it and see if that fixes the issue. Thanks

I removed the universal autoload mod any any other auload mods and it still does ask for password after some random time.

I will try to get soma time to test with only CP loaded as mod and a original map.

Hi. Today it was my turn to get the "type password" issue. Not only that, my bank account, (in game) was filled to the brim.
Removed FS_25Powertools mod, and it all seems good...for now anyways

Ich hatte das auch schon mit der aktuellen Version 8.0.0.4 . Ich spiele mit Controller, womöglich liegt es daran. Ich versuch das mal nochmals zu reproduzieren...

I've been experiencing this issue on vanilla map and edited maps. I removed the Power Tools mod and played 12+ hours with no issue. When i added Power Tools mod back the password issue returned. This happens on modded maps and base game maps when using the Power Tools mod.

Power Tools make really problems with different functions of CP. Example a activated fly-function with "j" can't use keyboard to manage the saved courses (tested today moning with 8.0.0.4)
