Q&A

6ImpCallHeaders Questions on Notice

Questions will be received by the community via Microsoft Teams chat before the questions are opened to the floor. Participants can submit questions outside of the CDR Implementation Call to the CDR Support Portal.

In regards to topics for questions, we ask the participants on the call to consider the Community Guidelines when posing questions to the subject matter experts.

Answer provided

Ticket # Question Answer
2372 Create a consent that scope includes accounts.basic and detail. But without any accounts in the consent. When calling Banking GetAccounts endpoint, should it return 422 error or return an empty accounts list? The Get Accounts endpoint should return an empty array if there are no accounts to be shared or none matching any parameters provided.
2355 Will customer gas data be included in CDR later? For example: gas usage, customer current gas price? The Consumer Data Right (Energy Sector) Designation 2020 (the designation instrument for the energy sector) specifies the energy data holders and data sets to which CDR applies. The designation instrument covers consumer data sets relating to the sale or supply of electricity, including where electricity is bundled with gas. Coverage of data sets about products is broader and includes electricity, gas, and dual fuel plans.
The Government has not announced any current plans to expand CDR in energy to cover consumer data sets for gas only arrangements.
The Treasury leads CDR policy and is responsible for the development of CDR Rules and for advice to government on which sectors the CDR should apply to in the future. If you have questions or comments for Treasury on CDR policy issues, please email [email protected].

Any Other Business

7ImpCallHeaders Attendees are invited to raise topics related to the Consumer Data Right that would benefit from the DSB and ACCCs' consideration.
