Decision Proposal 202 - Maintenance Iteration 8

This decision will capture the consultation of Maintenance Iteration 8. Consultation will commence on the change requests in the standards maintenance repository.

Meeting agendas and minutes will be posted in the comments below. The first call of this maintenance iteration will be held on Wednesday 14/07/2021.

The DSB invites the community to provide any recommendations of change requests to be considered for priority in this iteration.

Westpac requests that standards-maintenance issues #150, #240 and #394 are prioritised. However we view #240 as a significantly higher priority than the others.

PayPal requests that standards-maintenance issue 396, regarding the definition of a Digital Wallet Payee Type within relevant schemas, be prioritised into the current maintenance iteration 8.

Hi @AHomersham we can add this to the top of the backlog. There are a number of change requests already allocated so it may not be a guarantee that we can get to this one in iteration 8 but we shift the other changes quicker than expected it can be picked up first.

There does not appear to be any minutes for this iteration or disclosure on when the next meeting will occur while the Standards Maintenance page still references the February 2021 iteration and the Meetings page references Iteration 7. Could the DSB please provide suitable minutes and maintain documentation accordingly.

Iteration 8 concluded with no change requests being recommended to the Data Standards Chair. Minor documentation fixes were supported for:

• Confusing use of the term 'base path' standards-maintenance#373
• Adding support for given names standards-maintenance#394
• Typo in TRADE FINANCE enum in Product Categories table standards-maintenance#388

with a target release of v1.11.1.
