Problem Statement

The Consumer Data Standards (CDS) rely on a series of upstream standards. These normative standards change and are versioned over time, sometimes more frequently where draft versions of normative standards are relied upon.

This item is designed to facilitate the review and impact analysis of any changes to the normative standards upon the CDS along with any relevant consultation of changes required to update the CDS to the latest version of the upstream standards.

These reviews will be performed bi-annually to ensure that the standards reference the most appropriate versions of upstream standards to maximise compatibility and interoperability.

No work done yet on a decision proposal. Work on comparing the updated FAPI standards with the draft 6 version used for CDR is underway

A review of all normative and informative references is being conducted against CDS baseline v1.9.0 references. The analysis is available here: https://github.com/ConsumerDataStandardsAustralia/standards-maintenance/tree/master/reviews

This process is expected to take several weeks and will be conducted upon through Maintenance Iteration calls with change requests being raised where changes to the standards are identified.

Decision Proposal 203 has been created to conduct consultation on the analysis and summarise change recommendations so they can be taken to the Data Standards Chair. Individual standards maintenance change requests will be raised for each associated change.
