This page provides help on common problems and pitfalls when installing or using PIConGPU.

PIConGPU does not compile after changing or updating the branch: Commonly, the parameter set created using
createParameterSetdoes not match to the current code anymore. You need to re-create the parameter set, clean the cmake cache and re-configure the parameter set using theconfiguretool.
All wiki entries describe the dev branch. Features may be different in the current master branch.
