Compare Values to Object converter sugestion

I found several of the Converters in the ToolBox very useful, but I would like it to include a Compare of Obects converter, for example comparing the Value to the Parameter, so it can be used as a base for Visibilty converters, and others, like BoolTo...
I tried but I'm struggling with how to convert the Parameter string to the Type to compare. For example, I wish to control the visibility of an object comparing a value against an enum of posible values.
