Rating = 0 -> Not in favorite (remove if rating changed to 0)
Rating > 0 (5) -> In favorite (add if rating changed from 0)

In the Mpris2 spec, the only thing related to "rate" that I can find is playback rate, i.e. playback speed.

There is a userRating key in the song metadata (xesam): https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Specifications/mpris-spec/metadata/#index22h4

I can provide the rating to mpris clients but it looks like the clients cannot modify that metadata.

The client will show a 5 star rating for favorite songs but that's all.
