Crash after update to newest version #189
Comments
Both the AUR package and the AppImage works for me on Antergos/Archlinux.
It looks like Qt is unable to create the OpenGL context needed to render the qml scene/web engine view. As it works on other systems, I think the issue might come from other update you received at the same time you received the mellowplayer update. Can you try with the AppImage of version 3.2 and 3.1? |
yep, the application doesn't start on Ubuntu 17.10 |
@PlugaruT AppImage or Debian package? Is it also an OpenGL context issue? Can you confirm AppImage from previous version still work on your system ? |
Did you update your graphics drivers or kernel and not reboot yet by any chance? |
@ColinDuquesnoy I'm using Debian package. I will try the Appimage and return with a response. |
Hi! I've used the version that installed via APT on Ubuntu 17.10. And here is the log:
|
@Skyross @PlugaruT The issue on Ubuntu is different than the one reported by @Leinnan. The issue on Ubuntu is a missing dependency: qtwebchannel is missing. You can install @Leinnan Make sure to reboot your system before trying again. |
@ColinDuquesnoy installed the dependency and worked. Thanks. |
I will check it later because it works on my laptop and mentioned problem occurs on my main PC. |
@ColinDuquesnoy Thanks for the response. It's working! |
@Leinnan ping |
@ColinDuquesnoy It was my mistake, after reboot it worked without problems. Thanks for great app! |
