Description

Our project contributors' guide used to say that most pull requests must be made against the staging branch, and that the main branch is only for PRs deploying to the live website. That requirement was somehow removed from the guide, and now many first-time contributors are submitting PRs against main. Add that requirement back into the guide.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Contributors guide should state that PRs must be submitted against staging branch.
  • Contributors guide should state that main branch is only for PRs deploying code to production.
