I have identified here files that can be removed from the experiments/ClimaEarth/ directory.

AMIP_log.md
- combine this with README.md in this directory
io_helpers.jl
- move to src/ (general helpers)
user_logging.jl
- delete show method (unused)
- checkpoint_sims --> move to Checkpointer module
viz_explorer.jl
- delete (unused; link in README in case we want to add back later)
