Talk it out before implementing
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I love that I can use the "look around" mode to investigate places I've already been, I can look at buildings and vehicles from memory and plan a route or generally get a better sense for the layout of an area.
Unfortunately, If I want to use "look around" to view a location that's far away, I have to keep scrolling and scrolling the view until I reach the location, which is pretty tedious.
Solution you would like.
Have a keybind on the map view to use "look around" on an overmap tile that's already been explored. It would close map view and change the interface to that of the "look around" mode at that specific location. This would be a fantastic quality of life feature and allow the player to use the characters' map memory more efficiently.
Describe alternatives you have considered.
Just scrolling and scrolling to look at the finer details of far-away locations that I've already explored. Using "fast scroll" is nice, but going even 10 overmap tiles still takes a while, and its more likely that someone would want to view a location further than that.
