We use Carnet in Nextcloud for ticking off items in a grocery store, two people independently running through the same list. We manually coordinate broad sections but there is always "leftovers" that need to sync in near-time.
Would it be possible to have a specific note to be in "high intensity" mode?
Constant aggressive sync (polling/push?)
An indicator for not being in sync in a very obvious way
Maybe a line-by-line merge for ticked items and an obvious 'merge conflict' warning when somebody else also ticked the same box?
To limit battery impact this could only apply to an open note. If the high-intensity flag is synced (slowly in the background) across devices that would be perfect.
I'm sure this will enable many other scenarios besides spouse coordination.

I second this vote. Not sure how you could make an indicator that everything is in sync real-time (how does it know what it doesnt know?) but maybe a timestamp or an indicator that goes away after 1min of no-syncing.
(This is not specific to Android)
