Compact mode set to "Right" leads to incorrect (even offscreen) KER window positions

When I set "Compact mode collapses to the: right" in the setting, and toggle compact mode on and off, the KER window keeps moving further and further to the right, even going off the screen.

I thought it could be related to windows built-in DPI scaling (which I had at 200%) or differences between desktop and game resolutions. but even when I turned scaling off and ran KSP at native resolution the bug remained the same.

I'm guessing you may already know this, since you changed the default setting to "left", but I couldn't find it in the issue queue so here it is.
