US confirmed total different in csv (lower) than the one displayed on the web site

I am accessing the raw data via php and noticed that my totals for the US are significantly lower than the number displayed on the arcgis web site. I downloaded the csv and added the number manually (in a spreadsheet) to make sure. For March 18th 6pm PST for example, the arcgis confirmed number is 9345, whereas my spreadsheet/php sum is 7783.

Note that this applies to multiple other cases. For example, Costa Rica has 69 confirmed on the web site and only 50 in the csv. South Korea has 8,565 on the web site and 8,413 in the csv. Spain is way off as well. I'm sure there are many others...
