Expected behavior

  • Perform a check if the selected remaining dimensions are variable dimensions
  • Perform a check if none of the specified indexers are specified as remaining dimensions
  • Support the use of single indexers for multiple variables

Actual behavior

Indexers only work for single variable and without any validation, often giving unclear error message when users do not specify them correctly.
