I have a feeling that this is a really simple error, but I can't seem to get it to work.

Platform: MacOS
Terminal: iTerm2

Steps: (Discord is closed to start with)

  1. CocInstall coc-discord-neovim in neovim
  2. Quit neovim
  3. Reopen neovim
  4. Open Discord
  5. CocCommand workspace.showOutput shows two lines:
[Info - 3:43:08 PM] - Creaing coc-discord-neovim client with client ID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
[Erro - 3:43:08 PM] - Error: Could not connect
  1. Exit neovim
  2. Reopen neovim (Discord is still open)
  3. CocCommand workspace.showOutput shows the same two lines but with newer timestamp

Other information:

VS Code Discord RPC extension works, I also tried the original repo from where this was forked from (coc-discord) and that did not work either for the same reason (connection issue).

Solved! Not as easy as I expected, but I referenced this fix for VS Code's similar issue: iCrawl/discord-vscode#66 (comment)
