Installer: skip terminates

From brewtarget-help:

I've got a new computer with Micorsoft 8. Went to download the newest version available as i had been using 1.2.3. Goes through the installatin and says:

Select an old brewtarget install folder. Press Skip if this is a new install or you want to upgrade manually.

Skip terminates the install

Finish get : Could not find an existing database in C program File.

Could not replicate on Win 8.1 x64. Using the same BT 1.2.3 and upgrading to BT 2.1_0.

It does seem that after installing the product, if you press skip on the update procedure, it will not produce a desktop icon, but I did not get the Finish get : Could not find an existing database in C program File.

Any additional detail I could use to pin-point the issue?

Closing. Inactive and unable to reproduce error. Have installed multiple times across multiple computers in the past three years without issue.
