After entering at lat/long for a data entry, then clicking the globe to check the locality, there are two issues. 1) The "Click map to place marker" icon shows up automatically, interferring in my opinion. I suggest that having this tool on not be the default. One can always click it to engage it. 2) I am unable to switch to Satellite (or Topo) view, only Terrain (default) and Basic. [Correction: I can view Satellite if I step down in mag., can view Topo if I step down more.] When stepping down, a label at the bottom "Leaflet, etc." obscures the scale bars.
Also, I think I have requested before that a measuring tool be available here (not just in Geolocate). I often wish to measure distances between landmarks after entering a lat/long, to have additional locality data. Can this be done?
Thanks.
