After reading your paper, I have a question about the calculation of the depth per pixel. It seems that you just told the calculation method of depth per Gaussian and did not mention the calculation of the depth per pixel directly. Is your method like this function as well?

D = \sum_{i\in N}d_i\sigma_i \prod_{j = 1}{i-1}(1-\sigma_i)
$$
