When leveling up all relevant special abilities show up, save for backstabbing, which is not displayed and cannot be chosen

What's your level? Do you already have backstabbing?

Level 20. I tried various combinations and backtab does not show up, regardless of level. I have 18 dexterity and all the requirements. It's BG2, see WEIDU

You can try and open the dialog tree in Near Infinity, to see which condition get you cut off. It's wm_level.
