[Test-Proxy] Go crashing when invoking tests against tool, but not locally hosted f5

I need to unblock to allow JS to make forward progress, and as such am taking the override methodology to keep go green while not blocking everyone else.

However, now that JS is unblocked, we need to get to the root of the issues with go.

To be 100% transparent, these issues did NOT repro for aztables run, so it's likely not that big of a problem. Still going to do due diligence and run this down.
