Review project file configuration and overrides

Summary

The project file configuration and structure for the Event Hubs client library family of solutions were created when the shared engineering system was still under heavy development, with a non-trivial amount of moving parts. In the intervening time, the engineering system baseline has been formalized and is now in a more mature and stable state.

The Event Hubs projects do not reflect the current state of the engineering system, and may not reflect the desired best practices. They should be reviewed and adjusted to better conform to the current set of standards.

Scope of Work

• Review the current documentation and guidance for the engineering system.

• Review the set of overrides and special properties in the Event Hubs projects to determine what gaps or special needs may exist.

• Coordinate with the engineering team on a plan for whether discovered gaps are Event Hubs needs or should be reflected in the engineering system. Review the proposed final overrides for Event Hubs.

• Adjust project files and associated assets within the Event Hubs space based on findings and coordination.

Success Criteria

• The project structure and configuration for Event Hubs has been reviewed and is believed to be aligned with the shared engineering system and current standards.

• The existing test suite continues to produce deterministic results and pass reliably.
