Library name and version

Azure.Monitor.OpenTelemetry.AspNetCore 1.2.0

Describe the bug

I am using ILogger<TCategoryName> to log custom messages and whilst these messages do come through to Azure Application Insights with any parameters I include, they do not include the TCategoryName of the ILogger that was used to log them.

I have validated this to be the case with a brand new project using the "ASP.NET Core Web API" template.

Expected behavior

The Category Name from the ILogger instance should be included somewhere in the Trace information in Azure Application Insights.

Actual behavior

No Category Name is visible anywhere in the Trace information, either as a property of customDimensions or anywhere else

Reproduction Steps

Create a new .NET 8 project using the "ASP.NET Core Web API" template;

Add the following to the Program.cs:

// The following line enables Azure Monitor Distro.
builder.Services.AddOpenTelemetry().UseAzureMonitor();

Add the following to the Get method in WeatherForecastController.cs:

_logger.LogInformation("Returning {ForecastCount} Weather Forecasts", 5);

Run the project, make a request to the Get endpoint (either via Swagger or some other means) and then check the Traces output in Azure Application Insights -- a Trace will exist with the above message, but there is no Category information.

Just found that this was fixed in v1.3 onwards (#44754) so I'm closing this issue
