PDF file not opening ...

Hi,

I just installed the 3.1.2 version ... I am unable to open the pdf file the file opening window sits there even after i have selected the pdf file i want to open and have been clicking the 'Open' button.

I am using DeepinLInux and have installed pdfbooklet on this OS.

If you have the "black" window (may appear or not, depending on the environments), do you have an error message ? If yes can you post it here ?

Please find the screen recorder ... as you can see when i invoke the open file menu the window pops up but on selecting the pdf to clicking on open has no effect, i click on cancel and the open dialog window disappears ... however when i hit Alt+Tab you can see a ghost window with the window name at the bottom ... may be my linux environment does not show the black window but its there as a ghost window ...

The problem is that when you click on "Files..." the file manager opened does not seem to be the right one. PdfBooklet uses a specific file manager, and probably the one which is opened does not return any information to the program. I have never seen this and I don't know the reason. Perhaps a Gtk version which behaviour is different ?

OK, at last I understand : from the view I think you are using the menu "Open a project". Is that right ?
A Pdf file is not a project, and then PdfBooklet cannot open it with this menu. The defect is there is no warning message. We will add it. You must choose : Files / files. Perhaps I should change it in : Files / Open, it would be more classic.
