Should we have an option for a persistent dialog?
(Persistent meaning they have to perform in action for it to close and not just click/tap outside it.)
How this came up:
We have a dialog appear when a user is going through a Connect flow. A user presses Connect >> they are sent to the external service to authorize >> back to WP to confirm which account they wish to connect via dialog >> Connected. If a user clicks anywhere outside the dialog, it closes and they have to go through the steps again. In this case, its a bit annoying because it is part of the users intended action.
I am not suggesting this be the default because being able to dismiss dialogs, especially ones that are purely informational, is extremely helpful.
