Description

As part of unused feature deprecation, XVM will be removed from the codebase.
To avoid loosing the code forever, a special protected branch should be created to keep the code for possible future reference.

  • create a xvm-pallet-branch and make it protected (no changes allowed ideally)
  • remove XVM pallet code, including chain-extension & precompiles
  • cleanup Shibuya on-chain storage from XVM related items
  • remove XVM from the official Astar docs
