I tried to install this software, but can't afford to elasticsearch, since it usually consumes more than 1GB ram. Can it be installed without ElasticSearch?

Dear @karnakitab,
thank you very much for your interest in our educational CQA system Askalot.

Unfortunately ElasticSearch is crucial for several features (mainly fulltext search of questions, users, categories etc.). We do not have implemented any other alternative. Therefore, ElasticSearch is unfortunately really a requirement which cannot be skipped.

If there is any other way how we can help you, please, let us know.
