• In fact, it has been reported before, but I can't reproduce it stably. As you can see, now I use idea2024.1.3, and it is also the new UI, which can display Gutter Icons.
• In this case, you can try to delete the plugin and reinstall it, and try to re-enable render bracket in gutter in the plugin settings.
• Furthermore, it may be related to the font size of the display. Adjust the bracket size in gutter. Currently, I use size 16.

You are right, it may be have to do with the font size.
When I am zooming in or out (CTRL+Mouseweel) the gutter icons occurs and hides.
It hides on font size 16 - 19 pt.
My be you are try it again to check, if you can see it in this scenario?

• Yes, when you use CTRL+Mouse to adjust the font size, if it is less than 16, the gutter icons will not be displayed.
• I'll try to fix it, but I'm not sure.

In my case it is hidden in font size 16 till 19.
For your information, I am using also a background image, but I think you do it as well, if I take a look on your screenshot.
